Oxford-Greene Indoor Track Competes In 607 Invitational Afternoon Session

CORTLAND— The Oxford-Greene indoor track team traveled to SUNY Cortland over the weekend to compete in the afternoon session of the 607 Invitational. Full results can be found on ny.milesplit.com.

Girls:

The Oxford-Greene girls’ indoor track team was led by Clara Leach, who came in fourth in the triple jump with a jump of 30 feet, eight and a quarter inches. Amani Amin finished 14th in the long jump with a jump of 10 feet, nine and a half inches.

The girls’ 4x200 meter relay team finished eighth with a time of 2:18.58 as Leach came in ninth in the 300 meter dash with a time of 49.08 seconds.

Amin finished 27th in the same event with Leach in a time of 57.20 seconds. Amin also competed in the 55 meter dash with Tallinn Lupinetti. Lupinetti finished 28th with a time of 9.12 seconds with Amin in 30th (9.15 seconds).

Ellie Beadle picked up a 17th place finish in the 600 meter run with a time of 2:33.81 and finished 18th in the 1000 meters with a time of 4:38.

Boys:

The Oxford boys’ 4x400 meter relay team took third with a time of 4:08.22 with the 4x200 meter relay team in eighth place with a time of 1:46.93. Keegan Waltz led the team individually with a second place finish in the 300 meter dash with a time of 37.07 seconds.

Teammate Liam Philippone came in 20th place in the same event as Waltz with a time of 43.38 seconds. He also finished seventh in the triple jump with a jump of 34 feet, nine and quarter inches and jumped 15-7.25 in the long jump to finish in 18th place.

Eddie Golden finished eighth in the 600 meter run with a time of 1:36.79 with Sherman Ludolph in 13th (1:42.42) and Liam Griffin in 14th (1:43.47).

Griffin and Isaac Utter both threw in the weight throw, where Utter took fifth with a throw of 43-0.50 and Griffin in sixth with a throw of 36-4.50.

Dawson Viele and Paxton LaMonica both competed in the 55 meter dash, where Viele finished 23rd with a time of 7.63 seconds and LaMonica in 29th with a time of 7.83 seconds.
