SHERBURNE—The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves girls' basketball team hosted the annual S-E girls' tip-off tournament at Kevin Vibbard Court over the weekend, featuring other local team Unadilla Valley for varsity and Oxford and UV/GMU for JV. Congratulations to the Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves Varsity girls and the Oxford JV girls on winning the tournament.

Unadilla Valley varsity and JV both won the consolation games.

S-E's Morgan Mikalunas was awarded the tournament MVP with eighth grader Abby Green and Kendall Hill also on the all-tournament team as well as UV's Shyla Roberts.

Fabius-Pompey 30- UV 28

After holding a big lead throughout most of the first half, UV's lead slips away as Fabius-Pompey cut the deficit to three points at the end of the third quarter, takes the lead in the fourth, and holds on in the final seconds.

UV's Shyla Roberts and Kora Johnson both finished with 10 points in the loss.
