JOHNSON CITY —The Greene Trojans girls' basketball team competed in the Mark Woitach tournament for the girls over the weekend at Johnson City High School.

Greene fell 0-2 at the tournament against both Johnson City and Chenango Valley.

Greene lost to Johnson City in the opening round on Friday night 58-36. Mia Yahner led the Trojans with 13 points as Hailey Butler added 11 points.

On Saturday, the Lady Trojans fell 43-28 to Chenango Valley in the consolation round. Yahner was named to the all-tournament team.

Greene (0-3) returns to action on Thursday against Edmeston/Morris at home at 7:15 p.m.
