BAINBRIDGE —The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats boys’ basketball team opened the 2025-26 season up against non-league opponent Gilbertsville-Mount Upton on Saturday night. B-G suffered a tough 77-68 load in overtime at home to the Raiders.

B-G’s Levi Fletcher and Layne MacDermott both led the Bobcats with 15 points as Aidan Haynes picked up 12 points and Isaiah Hampton with 11 points.

GMU’s Kyle Keuhn and Koda Stockdale were tough to contain as Keuhn hit four three’s to finish with 24 points and Stockdale with five three’s for 20 points.

The Bobcats (0-1) will be back in action on Tuesday at Whitney Point at 7:15 p.m.
