NORWICH - A heartfelt thank to everyone who attended the 2nd Annual Commerce Chenango Thanksgiving luncheon earlier this week at the Family YMCA, where generous contributions filled boxes of donated goods for the Food Bank. The event was made possible with support from the Norwich YMCA, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit –Norwich, Dano Wakefield, and event sponsors. (Photo by Tyler Murphy).

NBT and Commerce Chenango will host their signature Business After Hours Holiday Extravaganza on Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 5 to7 p.m. at NBT Bank Headquarters, 52 South Broad St., Norwich. Guests are encouraged to help spread holiday cheer by donating nonperishable food items for Roots & Wings and new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots. The evening will feature live music by Denny McCormick, passed hors d’oeuvres from Blue Star Cafe, a raffle, and networking with local business and community members. Registration is requested by Nov. 28.

Commerce Chenango is also sponsoring an online Holiday Auction open now through Dec. 5.
Shoppers have the chance to support local businesses while finding great deals in the annual Chenango Online Holiday Auction, running now through Dec. 5. Residents can bid on a wide range of services, goods, and themed gift baskets, all from home.

The virtual auction offers a timely opportunity for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday shopping, encouraging the community to keep holiday dollars local.
