OXFORD -  The Oxford Farmers’ Market will be hosting its seasonal Artisans' Market this Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.,  as part of a festive Village-wide Small Business Saturday Shop Hop, with eleven participating businesses and five local eateries and taverns.  The Artisans' Market will take place in the Fellowship Hall of the United Church of Oxford, 16 Fort Hill Park (enter on Merchant Street, across from the Middle School parking lot).

This special annual Market showcases local gifts by local hands made by more than a dozen talented artists, craftspeople and farmers. Vendors will have handmade wreaths and ornaments; original artwork and cards; hand-sewn items; delectably edible gifts such as jams, honey and maple syrup; beeswax and soy candles; unique pottery items; wool and alpaca yarns and products; jewelry, artwork and other perfect gift items.  
Shop-Hoppers can pick up an official "bookmark” at  a special tent on Lafayette Park (9:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m.) or at any of the participating small businesses  to be eligible to win one of a number of beautiful gift baskets. Early shoppers  receive a free reusable tote stuffed with all kinds of treats and coupons,
