QUEENSBURY— On Saturday, Bainbridge-Guilford/Afton/Harpursville’s Maddie Ingham, Madison Farberman, and Owen Degan traveled to compete in the NYSPHSAA Cross Country championships, held at Queensbury High School. All three qualified for states after great performances throughout the season and in sectionals.

Ingham, who finished fourth in the Section IV, Class C championship, finished 84th with a time of 21:28.20 in the girls’ class C race with teammate Farberman, who took fifth at sectionals, two spots behind in 86th with a time of 21:33.30.

Degan, who was the top male finisher in the MAC at sectionals in fourth place, came in 20th at States with a time of 16:28.80.
