GREENE - Greene High School Advanced Art students invite the public to join them on November 13 at 6 p.m. at Moore Memorial Library as they unveil their ‘Brushstrokes of the Past’ exhibit.

Mrs. Samantha Olbrys’ Advanced Art students have used their artistic talents to bring Greene’s past to life. Over the past few months, students have researched and artistically studied Greene’s historical buildings — some still standing proudly, others long forgotten. Using both creativity and history (and yes, even typewriters for their research papers), they’ve brought the past to life through stunning works of art.

The students wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Greene Historical Society, Town Historian Bryan Bernardi, Vicky House and our friends at the Moore Memorial Library for helping bring this meaningful project to life.

All are welcome to join the celebrations on Thursday, November 13.
