What’s Happening At The Sidney Memorial Public Library

SIDNEY - On Thursday, October 30 at 6:30 p.m. enjoy an evening with local photographer and naturalist Rick Bunting as he shares his favorite photos and stories.

Saturday, November 1 at 2:00 p.m. join us for Local Historian, Scott Payne, for The Battle of Bennington. Payne will be speaking on Patriot John Stark, the “Hero of Bennington,” in the Saratoga Campaign, a key turning point in the American Revolution. As we look forward to celebrating 250 years of Independence in 2026 this is a great program to attend. The program will be held in The Smart Community Room of the Sidney Memorial Public Library. Note: this program was originally scheduled for Saturday, October 18 but had to be rescheduled.

November computer classes: Word will be held on November 12 from 2:00-3:00pm. Excel will be held on November 26 from 2:00-3:00. Call the library at 607-563-1200 to register for these classes.

Christmas Wreath Program: Looking ahead to Thursday, December 4 we will present our Christmas wreath decorating craft program. There will be one at 6:00pm and one at 7:00pm. Registration is required and there is a $15 feel Space is limited so call the library and sign up for a slot at 607-563-1200.
