SHERBURNE — The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves boys’ soccer team earned a play-in game as the 16th seed in Section III, Class B. The Timberwolves hosted 17-seeded Jordan-Elbridge/Cato Meridian on Tuesday evening. S-E advanced into the official sectional tournament with a 4-0 shutout victory.

S-E was led by Braden Zbicki, who scored two goals, while Raphael Olsen and James O’Connor scored the other two goals. O’Connor and Colin Pudney earned assists in the win.

JJ Fischer made seven saves in goal for the Timberwolves to help keep the Eagles off the board.

S-E heads to Westhill for the official start of the tournament this evening at 6:30 p.m.
