EARLVILLE - Congratulations to all youth deer hunters from the Earlville Conservation Club. The club held its 4th annual Youth Deer Hunt Columbus Day weekend.

Seven youth hunters harvested some amazing deer. Thank you to all the mentors who took time to be with these youth, teaching them and fostering a deep respect for nature and life skills.

The Earlville Conservation Club would like to thank the youth hunters who entered deer in our 4th Annual Youth Deer Contest.

Our hunters were: Luke Dorshenko: Doe, Maranda Schmidt: 7 pointer, Carly Nemeth: spike, Jacob MaCall: 8 pointer, Addison Hadlock: spike, Callie Eaton: 6 pointer, Ethan Slentz: Spike.

The winners of the 2025 Earlville Conservation Club Youth Deer Contest are:

Heaviest buck - Congrats Callie! Callie Eaton harvested the heaviest buck, 6-point, weighing 111.87 pounds.

Heaviest doe - Congrats Luke! Luke Dorshenko harvested the heaviest doe, weighing in at 99.7 pounds.

The club would also like to thank Many Maples Farm as our ‘weighing station’ and all the members that volunteered their time to help with this very successful youth event! The club typically meets monthly, the 1st Wednesday, 6PM at Many Maples Sugar House, 697 Rt. 26, Georgetown.
