BAINBRIDGE– The Bainbridge-Guilford girls’ soccer team earned the top seed in the MAC playoffs after a strong regular season with just one loss to Oxford this year. The Lady Bobcats hosted the fourth-seed Delhi on Wednesday afternoon for the MAC semifinals. B-G earned the big 7-1 victory to advance to the 2025 MAC league championship.
B-G pounced early with good possession, leading to shots on goal by Breegan George, Breanna Casey, and Kamry Patten, which pumped up the offense. Patten struck her first goal of the game off an assist by Jayslin Henderson.
Patten did not stop there as she finished with two goals on the day.
Keelan Ammon also tallied two goals within the first half. Henderson, Casey, and Carleigh Judd scored goals in the second half.
Breegan George finished with two assists with Casey also earning an assist in the win.
B-G's Danica Park continued to impress in the net, only allowing Delhi to score halfway through the first half.
B-G will take on Oxford in a local Chenango County matchup on Saturday at 3:15 p.m. at the Wright National Soccer Campus in Oneonta.
