BAINBRIDGE - It was a great night to be a Bobcat for both the Bainbridge-Guilford girls’ soccer and Volleyball teams on Wednesday evening. While the girls’ soccer team came away with a big victory, the Bobcats volleyball team battled to earn the 3-1 win over Deposit/Hancock.
Prior to the match, B-G honored its six seniors. Congratulations to Akai Sherman, Makayla McCloud, Madisyn Peck, Morgan Prisco, Kaylynn Crandall, and Peyton Umbra.
The final scores of the match were BG 25-8, DH fought back to win the second set 25-22, B-G came back to win the third set 25-23, and lastly the Bobcats took the close fourth set 25-23 to win it.
Kaylynn Crandall led the Bobcats with 12 assists and 12 digs as Peyton Umbra added seven kills and Akai Sherman had five aces and 10 service points. Makayla McCloud finished with five kills in the win.
B-G heads to Groton this evening at 7 p.m.
