OXFORD — Following the Oxford girls’ soccer game, the Blackhawks boys took on UV/GMU under the lights for the MAC playoffs. Oxford, as the sixth seed, defeated the Storm, who is the seventh seed, 4-3.

Oxford’s Joey Locke led the team with two goals as Gordon Smith scored one goal and had an assist.

Congratulations to Haven Bourn on scoring his first varsity goal for the Blackhawks. Dawson Viele and Calvin Moore added assists in the close win.

UV’s Braden Golliver and Fraser MacDonald each scored goals as Latham Retz scored on a penally kick. Preston York picked up an assist in the loss.
