NORWICH — Chenango County Cooperative Extension (CCE) and community partners invite all to enjoy free autumn fun during the spectacular Boo Bash community event.
The event will include spooky arts and crafts, games, and activities, from 4 to 6 p.m., October 30, on the lawn of the CCE building, located at 99 South Broad Street in Norwich.
CCE Administrative Assistant Rhonda Turrell said the event is a great opportunity for 4-H families and local non-profits to connect and help celebrate the start of the new 4-H year.
“We still need additional local non-profits to sign up,” said Turrell. “They can bring the fun spooky games, activities and crafts, we'll provide the chairs and tables.”
Turrell said space is limited and filling up quickly. Organizations looking to host a table can reserve a spot by emailing Nicole at nrs98@cornell.edu.
Last year, Chenango County 4-H youth participated in a variety of programs which included Paint Your Own Pottery, Adult and Teen Survival Night, Shelter and Fire Building, Planting Garlic, NYS Youth Livestock Ambassador Program, Open Farm Day, Kids in the Kitchen, New York State Fair Exhibitions, and more.
