S-E Boys’ Soccer Falls Short To Clinton In Overtime

CLINTON – The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves boys’ soccer team traveled to take on the Clinton Comets on Friday evening. S-E fell short 3-2 in overtime. Both teams stayed right on each other until the Comets scored the game-winner in the first overtime period.

S-E’s James O’Connor and William Leinbach added to their goal totals in the loss. O’Connor now has four goals on the season while Leinbach is S-E’s leading goal scorer with six on the season.

S-E’s JJ Fischer made 17 saves in goal.

S-E (2-11) also fell to Sauquoit Valley in a 11 a.m matinee at Sherburne-Earlville High School on Saturday.

JJ Fischer made 10 saves for the Timberwolves in the loss.

The Timberwolves head to Camden on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
