BINGHAMTON - WCDO Radio received three NY State Broadcaster Association ‘Excellence in Broadcasting’ awards on September 25. An awards luncheon was held at the Binghamton Country Club and included stations in the 'Small Market Radio Division' which includes the tri-county area.

WCDO won: Outstanding Podcast for the Nate Lull Podcast; Outstanding Commercial for Scoops Ice Cream & Subs in Sidney and the Serving New York Award for the Nate Lull Scholarship Foundation, which has given out $50,000 in just three years.

WCDO manager Craig Stevens, said he couldn't be more proud of the hardworking WCDO staff and all they accomplish daily. “Our focus continues to be 'live and local' for the tri-county area including extensive coverage of local news, high school sports and community events. Combined with an adult contemporary music format and regular contest giveaways for sporting events, concerts, broadway and comedy shows and local events make WCDO a popular radio station.”
