NORWICH - Each year, Commerce Chenango celebrates the rich history of manufacturing in Chenango County by hosting a Manufacturing Appreciation Luncheon.
At this event, they honor a Commerce Chenango member who shows excellence in their practice.
This year, Commerce Chenango selected the Raymond Corporation, a brand of Toyota Material Handling North America, as the 2025 Manufacturer of the Year. In addition to their support of Commerce Chenango, they have always provided job opportunities and invested in the community.
“We are extremely fortunate to have The Raymond Corporation located here in Chenango County. They have been here for over 100 years and employ almost two thousand people right here in Greene, New York. Their impact on our community can’t be overstated, and it is our absolute pleasure to recognize them as Chenango County’s 2025 Manufacturer of the Year,” said Commerce Chenango President & CEO Sal Testani.
The Manufacturing Appreciation Luncheon will be held on October 9th from 11:30am-1:30pm at The Northeast Classic Car Museum in Norwich. Lunch will be served while The Raymond Corporation, a brand of Toyota Material Handling North America, is presented with the 2025 Manufacturer of the year award.

Field continues, “We take pride in contributing to the region’s long tradition of manufacturing excellence and are grateful to Commerce Chenango for this recognition. We look forward to celebrating alongside our fellow manufacturers and continuing to grow together in the years ahead.”
The public is invited, and Commerce Chenango Manufacturing Members will be admitted for free. Members will be charged $25, and non-members will be charged $50.
