OXFORD - The Oxford Farmers’ Market will be holding their final official Market of the 2025 summer season this Saturday, 9 a.m. until noon on Lafayette Park. They will be marking the occasion, as they do every week, by providing a joyful and welcoming place for some of the best local farmers and bakers and cooks and artisans in the area. Come to Lafayette Park to connect with an ever-expanding and deeply-appreciative community, as we all learn (again and together) the pleasure of eating food in season, that is picked fresh, raised with care, prepared by hand, and brought to us by those who have done the planting, picking, caring and preparing.

Vendors this Saturday will have beautiful fall vegetables, fruits and mushrooms; locally raised beef, pork, lamb and chicken; gorgeous cut flowers and (still) flowering plants; chicken, duck and turkey eggs; local cheeses; fresh baked goods; locally-sourced crackers and grain products; fudges and jams; local hard ciders; maple syrup and honey; hand-made healthy treats for dogs; hand-made soaps, detergents, lotions and balms; along with other items for the kitchen and home.

The ever-festive Melanie and The Boys will be performing in the Bandstand. The Market is open 9 a.m. to noon, with music in the Bandstand starting at 10 a.m.

The Oxford Farmers’ Market takes a step back in October to make way for all the wonderful fall festivals and markets that take place in the area and to prepare for the launch of its winter season — indoors and online — on November 1. For more information about the Oxford Farmers’ Market, and to sign up for their weekly newsletter for weekly updates, visit their website: www.oxfordfarmersmarket.org
