OXFORD — The Oxford Blackhawks boys’ soccer team hosted Walton/Downsville on Wednesday in honor of Homecoming week. Oxford fell 3-0 to its tough MAC leading opponent.

Oxford’s Kayden Renfrow made 10 saves in goal.

“It was a physical back-and-forth game in the first half, staying scoreless until Walton/Downsville broke through with about 16 minutes left in the half,” Oxford’s coach Corey Endress said. 'The second half saw more of the same physical play and we were unable to find the back of the net while W/D scored two more.”

Oxford (2-5) hosts BGAH on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
