SHERBURNE — Recently, Chenango Valley Technologies (CVT), Inc. celebrated employee milestones and retirements, bringing all three shifts together on one day to honor their accomplishments.
CVT Owner and President Shawn Baker said the company has grown to become an injection molding company offering several services under one roof with tool and die along with injection molding services and currently have about 40 employees.
He said few companies of this size offer an in-house tool room and design services and was proud to say they do and have for over 30 years.
Currently their core products include Molded Plastics, Marine/RV Battery Boxes, and Injection Molds.
CVT recognized three 25 year employees, five 10 year plus anniversaries, and two retirements.
The three 25 year employee anniversaries were shared by Jean Davis, Veronica Pittsley, and Norm Wynn.
Each received a one ounce silver bar with the CVT logo etched on one side, a glass trophy and cash bonus for every year employed.
Baker mentioned a few accomplishments of each 25 year anniversary employee.
He said Jean as reliable and has a tremendous amount of CVT part knowledge and said she helps train new operators. Veronica, the office manager, worked in quality for 24 years and was promoted last spring and keeps things running smoothly. And Norm, the warehouse manager and production specialist is always willing to help customers and receives many compliments for his support.
"He often makes miracles happen," added Baker.
