SO. NEW BERLIN – The standings have shaken up once again after week 11 of the South New Berlin Horseshoe Club. After holding on to the lead for two weeks, Magro’s Pizzeria (Rob Rowlands and Lisa Rowlands) now sit in second, a half game back, from the new leader Rustic Ridge (Ron Anderson and George Hanslmaier). As of July 16, Rustic Ridge sits in first place with a 29-15 record.

Magro’s Pizzeria is in second with Potter’s Tire, who once led the club weeks back, is just ahead of Kelly’s Flowers in third. Kelly’s Flowers and Carpet Protectors round out the top five teams while the rest of the standings are close as well with five weeks left to go.

Tim Lidell swept both the top men’s leaderboards. He had the highest game of a 81 over Al Patten’s 67 and John Edwards’ 59. Lidell had the highest series of a 202 over Patten’s 171 and Edwards’ 164.

Kate Lloyd took both the top women’s leaderboards with a highest game of a 66 and a high series of a 162. Cindy Miller came in second in the high singles with a 50 as Lloyd’s teammate Tresta Raymond finished third with a 39. Miller finished with a high series of a 134 behind Lloyd as Raymond finished with a 101.

Potter’s Tire (Billy Schermerhorn and John Edwards) won both the team high singles (114) and tied with Fun Lovers (Tim Lidell and Mike Grant) in the high series with a 301. Lidell and Grant took both victories in the high single handicap game (220) and series with a 625.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club meets every Wednesday night until August 27 with a bye week on August 13.
