CHENANGO COUNTY – Following the conclusion of the 2025 Otsenango PONY League regular season, the playoff brackets are set with the championship scheduled for July 22 at SUNY Oneonta. Congratulations to Oxford, Bainbridge, and Norwich from our local area on qualifying for the playoffs.

First place in Division A is Unatego, who sits at 8-1. Unatego is hosting Division B’s Cooperstown (5-4) at Unatego High School while Division B’s Sidney (6-3) hosts Norwich (6-3).

Oxford currently sits in first place in the B division at 6-3 and is hosting Division C’s Bainbridge (6-3), who finished second to Delhi. Due to construction at Oxford High School, the game will be played at the Bainbridge Town Field with Oxford being the home team in the matchup. All games played this evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. except for Norwich/Sidney, which will be at 6 p.m.

With Sherburne unable to field a team for the playoffs, Delhi outright advances to the semifinals, where they will face the winner of the Oxford/Bainbridge game at noon at SUNY Oneonta on Saturday.
