NEW BERLIN – As of July 9, Rob Rowlands and Lisa Rowlands of Magro’s Pizzeria are still holding on to the lead in the South New Berlin Horseshoe Club. They hold a half game lead over Kelly’s Flowers’ Lee Coon and Jess Sherwood. Potter’s Tire (Billy Schermerhorn and John Edwards) moves two games back of Coon and Sherwood in third place with Rhino Graphics (Ryan Lund and Bill Wetherbee) on their tail. The Stadium (Al Bush and Al Patten) round out the top five teams.

Al Patten swept the men’s leaderboards as he had the highest singles game of a 72 over Ron Anderson’s 68 and Lee Coon’s 62. Patten’s high series of a 188 topped Anderson’s 179 and Coon’s 175.

Kate Lloyd took both the women’s high singles and high series. She finished with the highest singles game of a 61 as Cindy Miller came in second with a 42 and Jess Sherwood with a 41. Lloyd finished with a high series of a 164 over Miller’s 112 and Lisa Rowlands 108. The Stadium took all four of the victories in the team leaderboards for the second straight week.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club meets every Wednesday night during the summer season.
