NORWICH - Commerce Chenango will host a public open house on Wednesday, June 25, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at its new office located at 19 East Main St. in Norwich.

The event will highlight plans for a new Early Learning Center on the building’s ground floor, a project made possible by a $1 million Restore New York State grant. The center aims to address the critical need for child care in Chenango County, designated a “childcare desert,” by local officials.

Attendees will have the opportunity to view renderings and floor plans of the proposed center. State and county officials have also announced plans to attend the event.
