OXFORD – The 16th annual Tim Evans Memorial Golf Tournament was held at The Blue Stone Golf Course last Saturday, June 14. The tournament was in honor of family friend Tim Deemie, who passed away from his battle with colon cancer last December. The tournament proceeds benefited Meredith’s Miracles, a Colon Cancer Foundation.

A statement for the Evans Family per Ryan Evans:

“ I want to thank everyone for a fantastic day this past Saturday. A big thanks to Ken for all the work he puts in and Blue Stone Golf Course for being great hosts. We had the biggest turnout since the inception of this event. The rain held off and we were able to raise $2510 for Meredith's Miracles and more importantly, celebrate the life of our good friend Timothy Deemie. Save the date for next year's tournament, June 13th, 2026!”
