GREENE - Greene Central High School proudly announces its valedictorian, salutatorian and superintendent’s award recipients for the graduating Class of 2025.
It is with immense pleasure that the high school recognizes Abilene Marie Yahner as its Valedictorian, Lincoln Thomas Youngs as its Salutatorian and Keeli Madison Roe as its Superintendent’s Award recipient for the 2025 senior class.
Abilene Marie Yahner, daughter of Tanya and Paul Yahner, is the Valedictorian of the Class of 2025. Abilene has been involved in numerous activities during her time at GCS. She's been on the varsity field hockey team for four years, varsity basketball team for five years, and varsity softball team for four years. This year she has been a captain of all three sports. She currently serves as President of the National Honor Society, President of the National Business Honor Society, Secretary of Student Council, and Class Vice President. She is also a member of Interact and Mock Trial. In the fall, Abby will be attending SUNY Brockport to play softball and major in nursing on the CRNA track.
Lincoln Thomas Youngs, son of Melissa and Scott Youngs, is the Salutatorian of the Class of 2025. Lincoln has been involved in many activities during his time at GCS. He has been a member of the varsity golf team since 7th grade and a member of both the varsity basketball and baseball teams for the past two years. Lincoln has also had the opportunity to be a part of the youth apprenticeship program at the Raymond Corporation, where he works in the Engineering department. In the fall, Lincoln will attend Georgia Southern University to major in civil engineering.
Keeli Madison Roe, daughter of Karen and Paul Roe, is the Superintendent’s Award recipient for the Class of 2025. Keeli has participated in a few clubs and sports during her time at GCS. She is the president of the Envirothon Club, which she has participated in for the last three years. She is also a member of the Interact club and the academic challenge team, which she joined this year. Additionally, she has been on the varsity girls' swim team for three years. In the fall, Keeli will attend the University of Florida, majoring in environmental science.

Graduation ceremonies will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the high school gymnasium.
