AFTON — Community members gathered last week at The Hub (formerly the Great American) in Afton for an open house hosted by Help After Loss, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families through grief and traumatic loss.
The event welcomed families from across the area to tour the facility, explore available support resources, and connect with local networks. A major highlight of the evening was the opportunity to experience the organization’s renowned sensory room, a calming and interactive space designed to support emotional regulation and healing.
Guests were also able to collect valuable information from local service providers, talk with members of the Help After Loss team, and enjoy light refreshments as they explored the newly designed community space.
The open house aimed to raise awareness about the services Help After Loss offers and to provide a welcoming environment for those who may benefit from support in the future.
