NEW BERLIN - The Village of New Berlin welcomes all to visit and shop their annual community yard sale on June 21.

Village of New Berlin Youth Commissioner and Community Events Committee Head Kelly Banks said last year they had many visitors and she anticipates another large crowd this year.

"Our community yard sale is always on the third Saturday in June," said Banks. "Most people start setting up around 9 a.m. to sell all day. It's a lot of fun."

Banks recommended adding your sale location to the virtual map and said, "Even if you're outside the village, that's fine." 

She said to add locations to the map, call the Village Office during business hours Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 607-847-6389. Lunch break is between 1 and 2 p.m.. 

"If you have something big you want to list at your sale, we will put that item with your location on the map," said Banks. "Virtual maps will be available with QR codes or use the link found at the Village of New Berlin Facebook page or the website at Thevillageofnewberlinny.gov."

She said the Columbus Public House will be selling their chicken barbeque halves for $10.  To pre-order, call or text 607-372-5267. Orders can be picked up from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 10 School Street, in the old bus garage.

The fundraiser will benefit the Owen Banks Memorial Fund.
