Commissioner Daniel Auwarter and Director of Services Beth Beers (above) both shared heartfelt remarks, honoring the vital role foster families play in our community.

Commissioner Auwarter told the attendees, “I am incredibly grateful and thankful for all of you being here tonight and giving us the opportunity to personally thank you for your roles in providing care and compassion to a child in need. Opening up a heart and a home to a child and being part of their journey is a gift without measure, and I am very honored to be with you so we may celebrate that kindness together.”

With delicious food and even better networking, the night was a meaningful celebration of those who open their hearts provide support the 365,000 children in foster care in the United States.
