SHERBURNE — Friends of Rogers is proud to announce a generous $1,000 donation from Visions Federal Credit Union in support of Rogers Center’s Maple Sugaring Program. This funding directly supports one of the Center’s most treasured seasonal educational programs, which engages visitors in the science and tradition of maple syrup production.

The donation was part of the Visions Cares program, the credit union’s charitable giving program that drives their community impact. During their visit to Rogers Center to present the donation, members of the Visions Cares team stayed to assist with maple sugar production — getting a hands-on look at the process while supporting the Center’s ongoing seasonal work in the sugar bush and Sugar Shack.

“We’re proud to support the education and enrichment offered by Rogers Center,” said Sarah Parton, Visions’ Community Impact Manager. “The Maple Sugaring Program doesn’t only provide a delicious product, but also a fun gathering place and opportunities to learn, connect with nature, and celebrate local history and culture.”

This year's maple sugaring season also benefited from the continued partnership between Friends of Rogers and Clear Path for Veterans. Local veterans have been actively involved in the sugaring process through volunteer opportunities that offer meaningful connection and time in nature.
