SHERBURNE – The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves track and field teams hosted the Section III, Class B, Division II championships on Wednesday, featuring 10 other local schools. The Cazenovia boys’ and girls’ teams won the meet as the S-E girls’ came in 11th with 3.33 points and the boys’ in ninth with six points.

S-E Girls:

The Lady Timberwolves had three girls qualify for sectionals with Laila Babcock, Marlie Thompson, and Evelyn Thomas competing.

Babcock finished fourth in the girls’ high jump as she cleared four feet, four inches. She also competed in the 400 meter hurdles, where she finished first in her heat, but sixth overall with a time of 1:15.11.
