CORTLAND – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats softball team faced Moravia on the road at the Gutchess Fields in Cortland on Tuesday afternoon. After defeating Delhi in the first round in Oneonta, the Bobcats came away with the 7-4 victory against the Blue Devils to advance to the semifinals. The Bobcats will play top-seed Deposit-Hancock on Thursday for a chance to advance to the sectional championship.

B-G took a 3-0 lead early on with a RBI single by Jayslin Henderson in the top of the first before B-G added two more runs in the second on back-to-back RBI singles by Breanna Casey and Danica Park.

After a scoreless third inning, Moravia got on the board in the bottom of the fourth with a run on an error.
