NORWICH – “Early Bird” tickets for the annual Summer Barn Party are now available at tinyurl.com/SBP-2025. This yearly benefit, supporting the Chenango County Historical Society (CCHS), is scheduled for June 26 at 43 Rexford St. in Norwich.

An evening of food, fun, and friends to benefit the museum, this year’s theme is inspired by the newest Community Gallery exhibit, “Creativity in Bloom: The Storied Illustrations of Suzanne Bloom.”

Premium event sponsor Live Event NY is coordinating festivities, which will feature music by The Eddie & Bird Dog Show, with photos by 5th Dimension Photography. Party guests will enjoy a delicious reception catered by the Canasawacta Country Club and Cottage Bakery. Local establishments including Better Daze Winery, Bittersweet Farm Brewery, Forged Brewing Company, Good Nature Brewing, Old Home Distillers, and Uncommon Kin Cidery will offer complimentary beverage tastings.

The ultimate way to enjoy a summer evening, the Summer Barn Party is a major fundraiser for CCHS, attracting more than 125 community supporters. Proceeds support a significant portion of the museum’s annual operations. “Early Bird” tickets, available through June 13, are priced at $46 each. From June 14 through event day, guest passes are $66 each.

First established in 1939, CCHS is the primary organization dedicated to actively and comprehensively preserving the history of Chenango County. The area’s premier heritage museum, the organization celebrates local culture – its enduring traditions, noteworthy residents, and unique stories. CCHS programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
