SIDNEY – The 2025 MAC Track and Field championships were held at Sidney High School on Wednesday afternoon. The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats girls’ track team brought home the title with earning 213 points.
“The kids did an amazing job,” Coach Nick Mayo said. “I am so proud of them all!”
The Sidney boys’ team won in a close finish over B-G, who finished second. Sidney scored 125 points over B-G’s 122. Full results can be found on ny.milesplit.com.

Girls’ Track:
All of the B-G relay teams (4x100, 4x400, and 4x800) took second as the Lady Bobcats also stood out individually with multiple girls earning first place finishes.
Maddie Ingham finished first in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:37.50 with Jalyn Winans in sixth place and Madalynn Beardslee in 11th. Ingham came away with another top finish in the 1500 meter run with the fastest time of 5:22.53. Winans took third with a new best time of 5:52.57 as Chandler Benjamin finished eighth (6:46.21).
Emily Sprow achieved the top finish in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.79 seconds as Madisyn Larsen finished first in the 400 meter hurdles with a new best time of 1:14.40.
