SHERBURNE – The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves baseball team honored its 2025 seniors prior to Monday’s matchup against Adirondack. Congratulations to Owen Brown, Wesley Fisher, and Landyn Morgan.

S-E fell short 2-1 but played one of its best defensive games all season with good pitching from Lucas Newman and a great defense behind him.

Newman started the game with back-to-back strikeouts but then gave up a two-out single and a stolen base before getting out of the inning with a groundout to third. S-E saw a two-out single from Chadwick Nower to right field and a stolen base before he was left stranded.

Newman continued to keep Adirondack quiet as the Timberwolves’ offense had two men on with walks with one out until the Wildcats turned two on a strike him out, throw him out double play to end the inning.
