Harpursville/Afton’s Ryan Wright records 400th career strikeout

OXFORD – Congratulations to Afton senior pitcher, Ryan Wright on recording his 400th career strikeout in Monday’s game against Oxford. Wright poses with his coaches and catcher Matt Carman. Prior to the game, Wright needed five more strikeouts to hit 400, and did so in the second inning. Wright struck out a total of 16 batters in the 1-0 win over the Blackhawks. (Submitted photo)
