ONEONTA – After coming up short in close matchups, the Norwich Purple Tornado softball team continued to work hard, remaining optimistic against rival Oneonta on Wednesday evening. Norwich’s hard-work paid off as they earned their first win of the season 14-9, which was their first STAC win since 2022.

The key highlight of the evening was that everyone in the Norwich lineup produced at least one hit, scoring 14 runs on 15 hits.
