OTEGO – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats baseball team traveled to take on a tough Unatego/Franklin team on Wednesday, falling 4-1. It was the second time both teams had met after facing off in the Cortland tournament, but this time was for MAC play. B-G suffered its first MAC loss of the season and sit in third behind Deposit-Hancock and Unatego/Franklin with a league record of 4-1.
After three scoreless innings, both teams got on the board first with one run each in the fourth inning. B-G’s Connor Davy singled to lead-off the inning, stole second, and advanced to third on a wild pitch before scoring on Kaiden Seymour’s RBI single.
