BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats softball team hosted UV/GMU on Tuesday to begin a four-game stretch. B-G came away with a big 24-0 win and the Bobcats pitching allowed just one hit through five innings.
B-G excelled in the first inning as they batted around the lineup and scored 13 runs. B-G added on with six runs in the second and a five-run third inning. The Bobcats scored 24 runs on 17 hits.
Railey Odell, who was impressive on the mound, led the team at the plate with three hits and a team-high five RBIs. Breanna Casey and Jayslin Henderson drove in three runs each. Casey had a double her second-time up in the first inning and then scored on the throw coming back in.
