NORWICH – In its third year in the making, the Norwich Unified basketball team is heading to the championship after defeating Binghamton 48-26 in a playoff game held at Jack Jones Gymnasium on Tuesday evening. The spectators, team, and cheerleaders all showed school spirit and made the evening fun. There were a lot of exciting three-point shots at the final buzzer for the Purple Tornado and everyone had a chance to score a basket or two in the friendly competition.
