SOUTH NEW BERLIN – The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club is going strong after week four concluded on May 22. Webster Paving (Ed Webster and Bob Wells) are holding on to a tight lead after the week with Nomadic Addicts (Darla Smith and Sheryl Thurston) not far behind.

Both teams share the same 12-4 record but Webster Paving has the point advantage (2315 to 2260 points). Fun Lovers, Roger’s Best Value Tire & Auto, and Prolifiq Sign Studio round out the top five teams.

For the Men, Dale Lund swept the leaderboards with a high singles game of a 74 with a high series of a 196. Ron Anderson and Al Patten were both included in those categories with Patten in second in the high singles and Anderson in third. The two swapped spots for the high series.

Sheryl Thurston took both victories in the women’s high singles and high series. She scored a high singles game of a 55 as Cindy Miller and Kate Lloyd both tied with a 47. Thurston had a high series of a 131 as Lloyd finished second with a 126 and Miller in third with a 118.

Rustic Ridge (Ron Anderson and George Hanslmaier) won all the team leaderboards with a victory in the team high singles, high series, high singles handicap, and high series handicap to wrap up the week.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club meets every Wednesday night.
