Greene Tennis Drops To Delhi

DELHI – After starting out strong against Deposit/Hancock to start the season, the Greene Trojans tennis team dropped its second match to Delhi on Thursday, falling 5-0.

Shane Rideout had a tough match against Delhi’s Tabor Reed that went into three sets. Reed took the first and third sets as Rideout captured the 6-4 victory in the second set. Teammate Alex Boel fell to Risdon Reed in two 6-3 sets. Naomi Burghardt lost to Bryce Burrows in two 6-0 sets.

Billie Kinney and Hunter Becker dropped to Tyler Abts and Ryan Burrows 6-1 and 6-0 as Josiah Boel and Dawson Kimble fell to Delhi’s William Mokay and Levi Shephard by a score of 6-1 in both sets.

Greene (1-1) is the visitor against Bainbridge-Guilford on their home court on Tuesday, April 16 at 4:30 p.m.
