WATKINS GLEN – After defeating Southern Cayuga in the opening round of the Section IV, Class C tournament, the Bainbridge-Guilford Lady Bobcats were up to the biggest challenge of the season against top seeded Watkins Glen. B-G, who had played tough throughout the end of the regular season, fell 42-20 in a game that was in their control.

B-G had a rough first half with being shutout in the first quarter, which allowed Watkins Glen to take a 15-0 lead. Both teams were limited in the second quarter as B-G finally got points on the board, but were down 18-5 at halftime. B-G continued to step up after break, but Watkins Glen also resumed fierce play in the third quarter. There was no hope in the final eight minutes with both teams at a stand still on offense again. B-G was unable to create a big opportunity to keep their season alive.

Both Jayslin and Johnna Henderson led the Bobcats with six points. Johnna, the team's lone senior, added her six points in the third quarter. Marissa Mayo had four points as Chandler Benjamin added two points while Danica Park and Kamryn Patten were both held to just one free throw each.

B-G had a lot to celebrate this year with tremendous playing all around and Coach Conway settling in with 600 and plus wins this year. The Lady Bobcats finished the season with 12-9 record.

Great season, B-G and good luck to senior Johnna Henderson.
