SAUQUOIT – The Otselic Valley Lady Vikings wrapped up the 2023-2024 season against Sauquoit Valley on Wednesday, coming away with a 47-30 deficit. The Vikings continued to show improvement throughout a challenging season.

OV tried to stay up with the Red Hawks in the first half, who were off to a fast start. The Vikings played a strong second quarter to be down 25-18 at halftime. However, they were very limited in the second half and were outscored 22-12 in those final 16 minutes.

Miranda Hackett and Emma Rooker strived for the Lady Vikings as they posted double-digit scoring. Hackett, who has been a team leader throughout the season, scored a team-high 16 points with five three-pointers, seven rebounds, and four steals. Rooker followed with 10 points and banked in two three’s. Riley Bartlett had four points and five rebounds in the loss.
