Boys’ Basketball: S-E Back On Track With Big Win Vs Richfield Springs

SHERBURNE – The Sherburne-Earlville boys’ basketball team returned to the court on Thursday to take on non-league opponent Richfield Springs/Owen D Young. S-E snapped a two-game skid with a 70-46 victory, which is their sixth win of the season with four games remaining.

S-E got off to a hot start and never looked back. They combined with 42 points with 21 points scored in both the second and third quarters. They slowed down in the final eight minutes, allowing their bench players to add to the score. Everyone, but one active player, scored at least two points for S-E in the victory.

Nick Hull dominated the boards with 23 points, where he hit three three-pointers and pushed himself with 17 points in the first half alone. He also added his six remaining points in the third quarter. Dilen Maceda finished behind him with 12 points while Nelson Hadlock and Darren Miles both scored six points on the night.

S-E (6-10) heads to Adirondack on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
