EARLVILLE – Coming off a shutout against Clinton, the Sherburne-Earlville bowling team hosted Waterville the following day with a 5-0 victory to sweep the two-game series. S-E, who picked up its ninth win of the season, is in a good position with just one regular season match remaining. However, they will face a tough Cooperstown team for that final match before the postseason.

S-E defeated Waterville by a final score of 2418-1647. Leland Smith led the team with a 621 series, where he bowled a team-best 240 in his second game. Colton Camenga followed with a 506 series as Riley Smith bowled a 202 in the first game to finish with a 485.

S-E will honor its lone senior Riley Smith on Tuesday, January 30 at 4 p.m. against Cooperstown.
