Chenango County's Public Libraries: The Oxford Memorial Library

OXFORD – The Oxford Memorial Library is pleased to announce a really cool program coming up. We are offering it on to different dates for the convenience of our patrons. The program is DIY Herbal Bath Salts presented by staff member, Gillian Mulder. Come to the library for a relaxing time making your own herbal bath salts. All supplies and instructions will be provided.

The program will be offered on Saturday, January 20 at 10:30am and again on Wednesday evening, January 31 at 5:30. At the end of the program you will get to leave with some dreamy bath salts worthy of a home spa. Space is limited so be sure to call or come to the library to sign up for one of those times. You may reserve your spot by calling us at 607-843-6146.

Looking ahead we are excited to announce the program, Abandoned In Chenango presented by local artist, Henry Drexler as he presents his new painting and presentation. Join us as we learn about our county’s abandoned farmland through art.

We would like to invite you to visit the library and check out a very beautiful and unique display of Calligraphy by Michael Tobey.

The Oxford Memorial Library will be closed on Monday, January 15 in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We do have a nice display of books about Dr. King.

The Oxford Memorial Library would like to remind you that we are so much more than our four walls.
