GREENE – After defeating Windsor in the opening round of their own holiday tournament, the Greene Trojans boys’ basketball team faced Dryden in the tournament championship game. Greene came up just short in a 54-47 deficit, settling in with a 3-3 record so far in the 2023 season.

Greene stayed consistent throughout the contest, but could not stop Dryden’ s top center from knocking down six three’s that put the Lions at an advantage. Greene pushed though with their own top starters with Jaden Eroshevich, Will Dunlap, and Joel Vielandi hyping the offense up with double-digit scoring. Eroshevich posted a team-high of 16 points with Dunlap, earning all-tournament honors, behind him with 13 points. Joel Vielandi, who also received all-tournament honors, finished with 12 points.

Greene returns after the new year and will host Unatego/Franklin on Thursday, January 4 at 7:15 p.m.
