NY State Police Make Arrest After Bank Robbery In Oswego County

OSWEGO COUNTY – On December 27, 2023, at 8:49 a.m., State Police responded to a reported Bank Robbery at the Pathfinder Bank on Harwood Drive in the village of Lacona, Oswego County.

A male entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money and left the bank on foot in an unknown direction.

Following an extensive search by State Police, a suspect was captured on surveillance camera walking in the area before the robbery matching the description of the suspect from the bank photos. 

On December 27, at 11 p.m., Trevor P. Spooner, age 26 from Sandy Creek, NY was located and arrested for Robbery 1st degree, a class “B” felony, and Robbery 3rd degree, a class “D” felony. 

He was transported to the Oswego County CAP court to await arraignment. All of the cash proceeds from the robbery were located and recovered. 

State Police was assisted at the scene by the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office.
